Hello Researchers!

Here's the upcoming news for Monster XXXperiment v1.7 and where we're heading!

For our older supporters you all should know by now that we update Monster XXXperiment in 2 phases. Our main update which involves the inclusion of 2 new characters to research, and our mid-patch update which usually includes the CG for the newly added Kin and any bug fixes or adjustments to the game people spoke about from last update.

This update cycle loop has unfortunately been broken over the last few months because of issues within the studio. As some of you may have notice the art style for the game is changing slightly, that's because the previous artist who worked on the game is no longer working at the studio.

This has created a massive backlog of work that the artist still working at the studio are still slowly but surely trying to chisel down so we're sorry for the inconvenience. Our pace for releasing updates will be a bit out of wack of what's ideal for a few more months until we're all caught back up to speed.

BUT!

Of course I won't just tell you all some bad news theres a lot of good news to be had as well.

Save files should be working for the foreseeable future because the game's primary codebase is for the most part exactly where we want it to be!

With the change of the art the art style of the game in my humblest opinion has improved greatly! So you all will have much better eye candy to look at while playing!

A part of what acheived this is our new artist pipeline, which pretty much means instead of the artist working on 2 separate pieces they're both working on the same piece just different parts of it which means that the art style should stay consistent and art could be done much faster! So please deal with us while the artist take the time they need to re-create months of artwork.

CG's for Vallory and Alek are also in the works and you all will be able to see those in a future update for your respective Kin!

Vallory's confusing diet- We know and we hear you we'll be fixing the confusion on Vallory's diet next update as well.

Some bug fixes - No crashing bug this go around but some stubborn unicode bugs are laying around that we'll be stomping out.
