(New Day Night Cycle for Management Screen)

Hello Researchers!

We're still hard at work on the new version of Monster XXXperiment!

Programming is hard and takes a ton of time but we have made strides in all of the new content we plan for you all to be able to experience!

Below is a list of all the new features we are currently testing before release:

• Quest System - There are Quest in the game! Coming directly from Karen or from Kin themselves, the player will be given task to complete. This may be buying a specific item, doing something specific to a Kin's room, asking something specific etc. This feature has been added as a way to give the player a little bit of extra funding for completing small tasks since previously before there was no way to obtain more funding.

• Schedule/Activity System - The Kin now have  activities that you can schedule them to complete throughout the day, this can be research assignments, free time, working out, etc. These activities will raise your stats with the specific Kin a long with unlocking specific knowledge about the Kin through your research. There's a set of general activities available to all Kin. And a set of Kin specific activities that will be unlocked through your interactions with them. There are also special activities that will unlock new scenes with the Kin. We're hoping to use this as a way to continue adding content to older Kin just so there's more to do after the main amount of work is done on them.

• Research Discoveries - What I like to call the meat of our new features. Research Discoveries are special properties you can learn about the Kin by well, just doing weird stuff with their settings and habitats. Put a Kin in a cold room for too long and see what happens, feed them a specific kind of diet and lets see the results. Turn off the lights in their room I wonder how they will adjust. We heard your cries everyone you all want to fully feel like researchers and hopefully this feature will live up to your expectations! The reward for finding these discoveries are usually massive bumps to funding, passive funding, and special scenes with the Kin.

• Shops and Items - We've added a bunch of shops to the game a long with items. These items can range from research equipment to outfits you can gift your Kin. We're hoping with these added feature there's more of a sense of linear progression to the game and refine our game loop a bit more. Since progression with some Kin may be locked behind needing a specific research instrument.

• Outfits - We love outfits, so of course we had to add our outfit system. Outfits can be purchased from a new shop in game, unlocked through quest, special events, or research discoveries. Change up your Kin's look unlock new scenes that involve the specific outfit and style your facility out! MC outfits will be coming in the future as well!

• Day and Night - While it may be unethical, the work day doesn't stop! With our new day and night feature some Kin have to get some sleep. but the creatures of the night will come out~ Nocturnal Kin will be added to the game in the future as we finalize all of our systems and start to add new Kin to game again!

Adding all of these new features we essentially had to rebuild the game from scratch. Sorry everyone that is has been taking us so long. We want to present to you all a project that's close to our hearts and beloved by so many of you. While a lot of these changes, shifts a lot of things the core of the game that you played in alpha is still there. But now just with a bit more meat on the bones so you all can have a full plate~

Like stated before the first people to play the new update will be our Nebula Tier+ supporters on Patreon. After which all Patrons will gain access. However I hope you all understand because of the amount of work, time, and money we have put into the Beta the price of the game will be increased to $10 on launch. However if you have purchased the game previously you will have access to the Beta once it is released!
